At Roots Olympiad, get a chance to show off your skills and play at the concert alongside the superstars of Pakistan.

Rules:
Every institution can send only one band.
Each band can have a minimum of two and a maximum of six members.
Bands will have to bring their own equipment (sound system will be provided but we recommend you bring your own amplifiers)
Each band will be given a total of 8 minutes to setup their gear. Any additional time will cause the band to be marked negatively.
Each band should have an original song. (This is a requirement for the second round)
The judge’s decision will be final and cannot be contested.

Competition:
Round one: Each band has to perform a song of their choice to impress the judges.
Round Two: Bands qualifying would again have to do a cover song (a different song from first round) but this time they`ll have to top it off with the bands original song!

The top three bands would perform at Roots Olympiad Concert. They may perform any two songs of their choice.

Note* Bands of any genre can perform at this event as long as they are not offensive in terms of lyrics and stage presence. It is advised you stick to the music you are comfortable playing.
