KHAO is a dynamic food eating contest where you have to show that you can stuff it all down your throat! So if you think you have it come join us at the Roots Olympiad ’09!

This contest will have two stages and the one who survives this grueling course of food-eating will emerge victorious. In the first round of competitors will have to eat as many pizza slices as they can in 12 minutes. The three contestants who win this round will be advance to the second and final stage of the food eating competition. In the grand finale the top three contestants from the previous round will have to eat as many hard boiled eggs as they can in 10 minutes.

Rules:
Starting prior to signal.
Eating after ending signal.
Failure to eat a piece of pizza or egg properly.
Regurgitating during the competition.
The object of this competition is to eat as many pieces of food possible in the given time limit.
In the first round contestants must eat the complete slice including the crust.
Dunking the slices is prohibited.
During the second round egg yolks cannot be left out.
In all the rounds condiments and sauces are prohibited.
Contestants will be only allowed 250ml of mineral water throughout the contest and any other liquids are disallowed.
Contestants may eat sitting or standing in their designated areas.
Contestants will have a two minute break in between the rounds.
Contestants MUST wait for the starting signal to begin eating and may not touch the food prior to starting signal.
Contestants must stop at the ending signal.
Contestants may NOT put additional food pieces or portions after the ending signal, but will be allowed 15 seconds to finish any
food in their mouth. NO HOLD DOWN rule once contest is officially over.
If a roman incident occurs and the vomit touches the plates or table during the time limit that contestant will be disqualified.
Judges will be on hand to assure adherence to contest rules, tally pieces eaten, and monitor all rules and to disqualify any
contestant who fails to adhere to the rules.
Winners will be determined by counting the number of total pieces and parts of pieces eaten throughout the whole competition.
