This year, release your creativity at the Roots Olympiad '09 in the Short Film Making event! Grab your cameras, act your heart out, and SHOOT!

The short films should be between 5 – 15 minutes in length, and this time limit will have to be kept very strict. Participants can send their short films in DVD-VIDEO format, VCD format, or any compressed format written on a standard DVD or CD.

Competition:
Participating teams can have a maximum of 10 members, and 2 teams can be sent from each school. Each team can only submit 1 short film on any one of the two given topics. In this short film category, the films will be judged by their technical quality, the content, the acting (if any), and its editing.

The topics on which the short films will be created on are:
1) Alive in an Ultra World
2) Man vs. Child

It is up to the participants how they interpret these topics and staying relevant to the them at the same time.
