Roots Olympiad is scheduled to be held from the 14th to the 17th of January 2010.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our world in roots is in constant motion, giving birth to creativity and innovation and thus invoking our students’ imagination. From these amazing images of all our activities, a mesmerizing display of talent, learning and an unmatched educational experience is being staged before you.

Roots is synonymous with “Excellence”. Here our students are nurtured in all aspects of their personality. Students are provided numerous exciting opportunities to display their abilities and skills and to think both critically and creatively. This is why this time we are having the Roots Olympiad in Islamabad which is the perfect example for the students to display their talents and experience something new. The Roots Olympiad is all about the students where their innate abilities will be tested.

Today, Roots has completed its 20 glorious and proud years of academic excellence and overall achievement, so congratulations to all who are a part of this great Institution and have made it possible to make us go this far and with your support inshallah we shall take this ‘moving  school’ to new heights of excellence, achievement and academic standards.  

I welcome you all to participate in The Roots Olympiad 2009, being held in Islamabad, and have an opportunity of a life time in which you  shall both learn from and excessively enjoy. The miraculous event will be incomplete without your participation therefore I request you to come and be a part of this unforgettable experience.

Dear colleagues, dear friends!
I am delighted to welcome you all to the Roots Olympiad taking place in Islamabad for the first time. This event will give a chance to bring together students from around the country, allowing them to prove their mettle. It will give all of you a chance of not only to compete in a broad range of activities including debating, singing, film making, photography, live entertainment, mind quest, gaming, live art , fashion show, but also will provide students with an opportunity to develop their intellectual dimension through rigorous exchange of ideas.

This event will be four days long commencing on the 14th of January and ending by the 17th. During this time, I assure you that attending the Roots Olympiad will be an exhilarating experience for all. I, along with the Olympiad team, have tried my best to provide the students with the perfect platform of displaying their strengths and also with the opportunity of having a great time. Whether its testing your vocals in singing or strutting your stuff in fashion, anyone can find their zeal in the Roots Olympiad which will be headed by talented students and judged by the most renowned personalities of Pakistan. These committees will promote your talent to the appreciation you desire!! As for the events, there will be a theme night, a mind blowing concert by one of the most influential singers of Pakistan and a surprise event. All these events will be classy so get yourself ready for the most intriguing Olympiad experience this January.

We have tried our best to make this Olympiad a fascinating  experience.  This Olympiad is a healthy start for a new beginning for Roots and we hope to carry it in the future. I want that the Roots Olympiad be a landmark in the history of Roots and this can only be done by cooperation from all sides. Hope you have fun!!!
